- Make eye contact and smile.
- Be friendly to those around you.
And of course, my life can never be that simple. I decided that I was going to be friendly to people to show that I am liked. People are always attracted to people who are friendly and smile. Right now it looks like it might backfire.
Last week sometime I decided to introduce myself to a trainer at my gym (aka not my crush). I thought it would be nice to get to know other people and to show my gym crush that I am a friendly person.
Tonight, I got on the treadmill to do my 40 mins of cardio and then hi-tail it home to watch the Bachelor. Shortly after my warm-up was 2 minutes in, not my crush came over to talk to me. All I could do is think of two things.
- Oh no, what if my gym crush sees? Oh, I hope my gym crush sees. (Gym crush - take notes)
(after the conversation had been going on for 10 mintues) Oh no, hes going to ask me out.
This happening, of course, after a co-worker and I conveniently talked about how guys go after what they want. Not my crush was proving that men really do go after what they want. So, does this mean my gym crush really isn't that interested afterall?!? Do I chance that fact and hang out with not my crush (because he seemed to be an interesting/nice guy) and get over my gym crush? Or do I polietly decline, stating that I would love to hang out as friends but right now I am majorly crushing on someone in the gym and I am dealing with that? Ill have to come up with answers soon....I have a feeling that I won't have much time to figure it out.
Nothing is ever easy.
